While we do pride ourselves on producing the finest quality animated productions, our roots are in the world of visual effects too. We love to jump on board VFX productions, either by taking on entire shots, or by simply providing super cool CG animated elements like a guy in a squirrel suit jumping off of a building, creepy spiders, sentinels, spaceships, you name it... we can birth it, feed it, and teach it to dance the Macarena, if that's what you're going for.
Our founder, Michael "Ffish" Hemschoot spent the first half of his career in Hollywood VFX at studios like, Warner Digital, Sony Pictures Imageworks, and Asylum VFX, before trading beaches for mountains, and opening an animation house in sunny Colorado. With the amount of CG in today's tentpole films, aren't they all basically animated productions anyway? We think so...
